Rainbow Rallies - Spring Tournament

This event is organized by and for the queer community. Friends, family, and allies are very welcome to come support and spectate!

On Saturday, March 29th from 2pm - 6pm, we're hosting a competitive & fun indoor tournament @RECS!! 🏆

We will run 2 pools simultaneously - one for 3.0-3.5 skill-level players and another for 3.5-4.0 players. Learn more about ratings here, we encourage teams to sign up where they best fit (please don't rank down on purpose) to promote a fair and inclusive experience for all!

Teams will compete in a round robin series and play 9 or 11 matches (depending on pool), followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket for 2 additional matches. 

You will have 20 minutes per game, playing to 11 points in the RR and 25 minutes for 15 points in the playoffs. We recommend having substitutes on your team if playing 9-11 games sounds too demanding! Subs join for free. If you're registering solo, you will be placed on a team appropriate to your skill level.

There will be medals 🥇🥈🥉 for both pools, lots of fun 🎟️ raffle prizes from our amazing local sponsors for everyone to partake in, and 🎁 awards for best dressed and best team name! *each player automatically gets one free raffle entry!

Players should bring:

• Sweatshirt or jacket for when not playing (we'll be inside, but it can get chilly)
• Water bottle (keep hydrated! Snacks and drinks are available for purchase on-site)
• Paddles if you have them (we have extra in case you don’t)

For those of us who love to dress up, this Tournament's theme is Spring into Color!! 🎨

📸 We will have a photographer and videographer on site! If you do not wish to be captured please let us know in advance. There will also be a designated photo area.
