Queer Courts Summer League ~ Pride Edition 🌈

LOCATION:

Outdoor Courts @ The People's Courts 
2700 NE 82nd Ave,
Portland, OR 97220


TIME: Wednesday nights, 7-10 PM. 

Your team will play three games for an hour each night. We'll let you know your schedule ahead of time. Everyone's encouraged to hang out before and after to cheer others on. Our venue has a full kitchen + bar. 


DATES AND THEMES:

• July 8: Monochrome 
• July 15: Wild West 
• July 22: Throwback (pick your favorite decade)
• July 29: Goth Baddies 
• August 5: Shine + Sparkle (no glitter on the courts, plz!)
• August 12: Drag + Divas
  
  

DIVISIONS
There will be 2 divisions: 

Beginner + Intermediate
Skill rating: 2.5-3.5

• You understand the basic rules 
• You can serve, return, and rally but lack consistency and accuracy
• You prefer fun/social games over structured competition
  

Intermediate/Advanced
Skill rating: 3.5+

• You can hit consistent serves, returns, dinks with control and precision
• You can have strong court awareness and movement
• You use lobs, speedups, and soft shots

HOW TO SIGN UP

Option A) Sign up as a team - minimum of 2 people per team. Teams are responsible for finding their own subs. 

Option B) Sign up as a free agent and we'll place you on a team.

Option C) Just looking to sub? email team@queercourts.org or DM us on Instagram @queercourts to get chat logistics.

PLAYERS SHOULD BRING

• Comfortable, non-marking shoes
• Water bottle
• Pickleball paddle (we have extras if you need)
  
  

Brand new to pickleball? Join us for a free lesson and park play at Laurelhurst Park on Monday, June 29 or Wednesday July 1. We'll play from 7pm - Sunset.

Unfortunately, in order to secure courts, we cannot offer refunds. Please check your calendar and avoid registering if you think you'll miss more than two matches.
