"Anything but a Paddle" Party + Fundraiser | 6pm - 9pm | August 27, 2026

It's happening! Some jerk stole our paddles, and we're taking the high road by doing what us queers do best: organizing our community and throwing a party. 

On Thursday, August 27 from 6-9pm, we're having a social + (slightly chaotic) open play hosted by our friends at Now Serving. Come to hang out, come to compete, or do a mix of both.

We'll have snacks and refreshments, and beer + wine will be available for purchase.

Our goal is to raise $1200 to replace the 16 paddles + event gear.  Can't make it and still want to support? Venmo donations to @kei-luca will also be counted toward this total.

If you want to play, you should bring:

• Comfortable non-marking shoes
  
  
• Water bottle (keep hydrated! We'll have some snacks and NA drinks included with your ticket, and alcohol will be available for purchase on-site.)
  
  
• ANYTHING BUT A PADDLE (something safe that can realistically hit a pickleball over the net). Bring a pizza box, a yoga mat, a piece of bad art could work... we'll have a prize for most creative paddle and most surprisingly effective paddle. 
  
  

This event is organized by and for the queer community. Friends, family, and allies are very welcome to come support and spectate!
